Param Laila
Founder & CEO at Sapper.ai
Param Laila is the founder and CEO of Sapper.ai, which builds AI-first business automation products based on an AI-augmented decision platform. Param is a passionate growth-oriented executive with a track record of successfully scaling enterprise software companies. He co-founded Ibbaka and Digital Cues before founding Sapper.
Param is also an alumnus of Stanford University (2010-2011), where he refined his leadership and strategic thinking. His hands-on experience includes recruiting top management talent, defining corporate strategy, running operations, and leading enterprise sales.
Arumugam Maruthanayagam
Head of Applications, Car and Bike Freak
He is a visionary executive with 25 years of experience, including 15 years in technical leadership roles. He possesses expertise in cloud technologies like AWS and Azure, Java, Micro-Service Architecture, DevOps tools, and machine learning algorithms. Aru has worked at esteemed companies such as OLA, IBM Software Lab, Genpact, Netfoundry, and VeriSign, holding roles like Director of Data Engineering and Data Science at OLA Electric and VP of Product Engineering in Genpact. He has achieved notable accomplishments, including reducing infrastructure engineering costs by 50% at OLA and designing an innovative MLOps platform. Aru is passionate about unified document processing and feed processing technologies and enjoys tinkering with cars and bikes during his free time.
Nilesh Gundecha
Leads Client Programs, Chief Peacekeeper
Nilesh has a true passion for startups and possesses a diverse skill set. His expertise encompasses end-to-end product planning, technology, security, engineering management, and people management. Throughout his career, Nilesh has led development and quality teams for products using Agile methodologies, guiding them through the complete product life cycle. One of his strengths is mentoring interns and juniors, ensuring their professional growth and valuable contributions to the company. Leading from the front and setting a positive example for the team is a belief he holds.
Nilesh takes pride in his experience in technology start-ups, where a crucial role has been played by him in turning multiple ideas and visions into reality. His expertise extends across various domains, including Retail, Automobile, Insurance, and Innovation. Nilesh has successfully worked on projects involving SaaS platforms, Cloud migration, Digital Transformation, and Integrations. He had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, from large organizations like Flipkart, VMware, Volkswagen, and FCA to smaller ones.
Balancing his professional life with these personal interests allows him to lead a fulfilling and well-rounded life, where Nilesh continuously learns and grows in both his career and personal pursuits.
